Otter Creek Embroidery
We actually started our journey with a Viking/Husquvarna single-needle machine. Realized instantly we needed a multi-needle. Started doing some research and found Melco. Bought our first machine and our business grew to where we bought our 2nd within 8 months.
The support from Melco’s online tutorials and all of their videos have helped us expand our product base of what we can do. Since starting this journey, this has helped us become more financially stable and able to have a solid income for a side business. Our hope is to go full time, so we can spend more time with our kids and enjoy their sports and events as they grow up. Not sure where we would be if we hadn’t bought our first Melco machine.

Geniuses Unleashed LLC
Prior to the 2023 Super Bowl, Kayatana at Geniuses Unleashed got a call from an event planner. They were putting on a fashion show for the wives of the NFL players and looking for vendors. Even though they had just started their embroidery business, Geniuses Unleashed placed a bid and were given the job! They loaded up a U-Haul truck and took their 4 Melco machines to Pheonix for the fashion show. “We completed over 220 pillowcases in slightly over 3 hours.” What an incredible opportunity!

I had a little sign shop that also decorated apparel as a peripheral gig. I had a few customers ask for embrodiered items. I found an embroiderer to sub work to, and it took forever to get it back. I decided there must be a market for this. I checked out about a million embroidery machines on youtube and decided on Melco. I ordered the machine, not knowing anything about embroidery. My machine arrived, the instructor came and away I went. There were so many screw-ups at first, but If someone really wants to be successful learning is the easy part. Anyway, I have several contract decorating gigs and have a dedicated person running my embroidery department. I won’t buy any machine except Melco.
